‘HALF PAST’ COMES FROM THE IN-BETWEEN MOMENTS OF LIFE.

We’re here to capture the essence of timeless photography. With a blend of creativity, strategy, & heart, we help document the reality of your life.

We’re inspired by the ornate little details of the baroque era, the flowy organic textures in art nouveau, the otherworldly pedestals of Classic Greek & Roman sculpture & architecture.

Just like the Arts & Crafts Movement of the late 1800s, we reject the low quality & soullessness of mass production. That’s why everything we touch is made with intention & imperfections, as an ode to traditional craftsmanship. There is love, passion, purpose, & drive in all of our work.

Every image is thought out. Every story is organically shown. The artistry of every day life already exists, but we help integrate it into your story through images that will be passed on like family heirlooms for years to come.

‘HALF PAST’ is an ode to the vintage nostalgia of past times, and simultaneously serves as a metaphor for realization that the fleeting moment is always now.

Text reading 'Our Approach' in stylized black and white lettering.

as people who feel photos, we know how important it is to feel seen. in our approach, we consider more than just the goal of taking photos. we think of your story, your life, your love — everything of value to you that you want to capture & preserve.

We will always begin with stories & we don’t do stiff direction. Instead of posing you, we will prompt you to help you feel more comfortable. Every session is shaped around who you are, how you move, & the connection you share, so each is different. Rather than forcing fabricated moments, we observe the natural ones that unfold before us to create images that feel honest, cinematic, & deeply personal.

As time is the theme of our work, we value it deeply both in the essence of photography and the photos themselves. More than documentation, your gallery becomes a keepsake; an heirloom. It is a time capsule of who you were in this session — imperfect, beautiful, fleeting, & inherently human.
